TRANSFERRING CREDIT: Other university/EAP (includes all international programs)

If you are looking to transfer credit from another university or are looking to determine if a course at another university will transfer to UCSC, you will need to follow these instructions to file a Course Articulation Request:

1. Obtain a copy of the syllabus and course description for the course you wish to transfer.

2. Download and print out a Course Articulation Request , fill out the student portion.

3. Use the UCSC general catalog to find a course at UCSC that is most similar the course you wish to transfer.

4. The syllabus, course description, articulation form, and course materials should be submitted to Bio Advising. These materials can be faxed, emailed or dropped off at the office.  We will then have the course evaluated by a faculty member. This process can take up to two weeks. Once the course is evaluated, we will notify you of the outcome via email.

Allow at minimum, two weeks for the results of your articulation request.  Please, do not wait till the last minute to request your articulation.

NOTE: The articulation of courses is a courtesy function. Please be respectful of the faculty and staff articulating your course.
