DEGREE PROGRAMS: Biology Minor

The Biology minor is a secondary degree similar to our Biology BA but with fewer upper-division requirements and without a senior comprehensive (exit) requirement. Students must declare the Biology Minor when they are declaring their major.

NOTE: The biology minor is NOT AVAILABLE for students majoring in any of the Biological Sciences degree programs.

INTRODUCTORY REQUIREMENTS
Calculus:
MATH 11A + 11B OR MATH 19A + 19B
General Chemistry:
CHEM 1A, CHEM 1B/M + 1C/N
Biology:
BIOL 20A + 20B + 20C
Organic Chemistry:
CHEM 108A/L + 108B/M OR CHEM 112A/L + 112B/M + 112C/N
Physics:
PHYS 7A/L + 7B/M OR PHYS 6 series: 2 courses w/ labs
